With this year’s focus on green solutions and green economy, NAFFCO is one of the eager participants in the 16th edition of WETEX held on April 14-16, 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
With the theme, “At the forefront of Sustainability”, WETEX 2014 provided NAFFCO a solid platform to demonstrate innovations in energy and environment sectors.
NAFFCO showcased the Aerial Access Platform Vehicle. This vehicle saves time and money by allowing maintenance work on live transmission and distribution lines without power interruption. This fully hydraulic platform is available in a wide range of custom-made vehicles with height 8m to 65m with insulation up to 500KV.
NAFFCO also showcased a sustainable product called Eco Barid Foam, an environmental-friendly foam concentrate designed to fight different classes of fuel fires (Class A, B, D, & F), which is non-corrosive, non-toxic, and fully biodegradable extinguishing agent.
The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Top government officials and diplomats also attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition is organized by DEWA under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE and President of DEWA.
