NAFFCO Wins Safety Ambassador Award

UAE's leading fire-fighting company NAFFCO 's CEO - Mr. Khalid Al Khatib has been honored with the Safety Ambassador award by Kevin Faltin, Director - Underwriters Laboratories (UL) at the recently held National Fire Protection Association Expo & Conference 2013 (NFPA), Chicago. NFPA Conference & Expo in Chicago is the year's largest and most important event for the fire protection, life safety, and electrical industries.

The Underwriters Laboratories Award provides safety-related certification, validation, testing, inspection, auditing, advising and training services to a wide range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers, policymakers, regulators, service companies, and consumers.

UL award is considered as the most prestigious award and the selection process is based on a very strict and extensive criteria. This is the first time UL has awarded an award to a Middle East company. The award was given to NAFFCO as a recognition of its consistent effort in bringing innovative change in the field of fire fighting and upgrading their products to highest quality standards.
